PUBLIC NOTICE

TO:    RESIDENTS AND PROPERTY OWNERS WITHIN THE CITY OF LESTER PRAIRIE

FROM:    LESTER PRAIRIE PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION

YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED, the Lester Prairie Planning & Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at 7:15 p.m. in city hall.  

The purpose of said public hearing is to receive public input, orally or in writing, personally, by agent or attorney, regarding a zoning amendment within Section 5.1 Land Use, specifically Sections 5.1.2.1 Building Permits Required, by deleting subsections (a) and (b), renumbering the remaining Section 5.1.2.1 accordingly; requiring a zoning permit for certain structures by adding Section 5.1.2.1A, ZONING PERMITS REQUIRED and adding a Penalty Provision, 5.1.2.2A. 

It is important for residents to attend this public hearing and provide their input regarding the zoning amendment.

TO:    RESIDENTS AND PROPERTY OWNERS WITHIN 350’ OF LOT 21 OF THE AUDITOR’S PLAT LOCATED IN THE NORTHWEST QUARTER OF THE SOUTHWEST QUARTER OF SECTION 2, TOWNSHIP 116, RANGE 27, MCLEOD COUNTY, MINNESOTA

FROM:    LESTER PRAIRIE PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION

YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED, in accordance with the Lester Prairie Municipal Code, Sections 5.1 Zoning, 5.1.8 Manufacturing Districts, 5.1.11.2 Variances,
AND Section 5.2 Subdivision Regulations that the Lester Prairie Planning & Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at 7:30 p.m. in city hall.

The purpose of said public hearing is to receive public input, orally or in writing, in person, by agent or attorney, regarding a variance permit request submitted by Oak Street Real Estate Capital and an application for Minor Subdivision which would combine three parcels of the Auditor’s Plat into one new minor subdivision for the property located at 78 Second Avenue South.

The variance permit request is to construct a building addition with a portion of the building having a proposed height of 42 feet to allow for vertical storage for adequate area to perform packaging operations.  The Municipal Code allows a height of 40 feet in a Manufacturing District.  

The Minor Subdivision Application is to combine the South 250’ of West 262’ of Lot 21 of the Auditor’s Plat and the South 142’ of the North 642’ of Lot 21 of the Auditor’s Plat and the East 271’ of the South 392’ of the North 642’ of the West 533’ of Lot 21of the Auditor’s Plat into a new minor subdivision which would include a new plat of one contiguous parcel.
